Lilly Canada’s Involvement in Clinical Trials
Lilly is committed to meeting patient needs through innovative medicine and clinical excellence. As part of the development process for medicines, Eli Lilly and Company conducts research to help determine safety and efficacy of various test medications, representing a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes, neuroscience and autoimmune disorder. We conduct research with the intent of learning more about treatment options, disease states, diagnostics, and other associated issues that contribute to the health and well-being of patients. This research often occurs in the form of clinical trials and observational/non-interventional studies. Lilly Canada’s role is to help manage the clinical evaluation of potential new medicines on behalf of Lilly Global. Lilly Canada also provides ongoing scientific support for our marketed products to address important clinical and scientific questions.
